Looking to buy a vacation home? Need help selling a parent’s home in another state? Or maybe you’re even looking to move out of northern Virginia….
It can be overwhelming to find a good Realtor® in another state. Where do you start? How do you know who is good? Are they a good fit personality-wise? Will they give you the personal attention you are looking for?
Even though Kris and I are only licensed in Virginia, you may recall us mentioning that we can help you with your real estate needs even outside of the area. So how does that work?
Well, simply give either of us a call and let us know what you need help with, and we will tap our amazing Keller Williams network to find a perfect match for you and your needs (or a friend or family member’s needs).
We’ll Do The Work For You…
We’ll research agents who specialize in the geographic area you’re looking at to find one that strikes the perfect balance between having enough experience…but not juggling so many transactions that they can’t offer you the highest level of service.
This is one small way we can help “lessen the load” of taking that first step in the home buying or selling process. And it’s a way we can help you increase your chances of a smooth transaction.
I did this very thing with several Seller clients of mine who were looking to move south. I was able to research and talk to various Realtors® in order to find the right match for my clients and the way they like to work. Then, I put them in direct touch with one that was a good fit, and they began their home search.
Help with Primary Homes, Vacation Homes, Parent’s Homes
Kris has also assisted clients in a similar fashion. She recently helped a busy executive client of hers who is trying to decide between two states for a move. Kris researched and interviewed Realtors® in both states to ensure they offered the service and style that aligned best with her client’s needs.
Even if you’re looking to purchase a second home, finding the right fit is important. I’ve heard from too many friends who’ve purchased vacation homes out of state that they weren’t happy with their Realtor®. It’s no wonder, if they didn’t have much information to go on.
And, finally, if you’re looking to help a parent or other relative sell a home out of state, it may be hard for you to physically be there during the entire process. Pairing up with a trusted Realtor® who can help manage the process is key. I recently had this conversation with a friend who is anticipating how she will need to help her aging parents in the not-too-distant future.
So if you — or a friend or neighbor — needs help in other parts of Virginia or out of state, give us a call. We’d love to help!
