New Single Family Homes at West Park in Brambleton (Part 2)

Following up on my Part 1 post last week, I wanted to cover Van Metre, the second new home builder in Brambleton’s West Park area that’s now under development. Unless you’re new to northern Virginia, you’re probably familiar with Van Metre. Having developed neighborhoods all over Loudoun County, they have a great reputation. With West Park, they are part of a community with schools surrounding the neighborhood, amenities galore throughout Brambleton, and a massive new regional park due to open in the Spring of 2022 (see Part 1 for coverage of that).

These Van Metre Homes Have Been Selling Fast

The first home sites in West Park were released in February 2021. Like TriPointe Homes, the other new home builder in West Park, Van Metre offers 3 different single family home models, each allowing for different floor plan customizations based on how you live. They can be built with up to 6 Bedrooms, 3.5 Baths, and 2,710 square feet over 3 levels.

Like TriPointe, they start in the low to mid $800s. Delivery is currently running about 8 months out. Van Metre has sold 30 homesites so far, with just over 70 remaining as of the writing of this post.

Plenty of Open Living Space and Luxury Options

Van Metre’s single family homes in West Park are a bit narrower than TriPointe’s, measuring 26′ wide. (Van Metre does have wider homes in Hartland in Aldie, another one of their Loudoun County communities, which we will be covering down the road. Those homes start at a higher base price.) But don’t be fooled by how narrow these homes may seem from the outside…they feel plenty spacious inside. Just check out the Gourmet Kitchen above!

A covered patio comes standard in these homes and is sure to be a hit with homeowners, many of whom became more appreciative of outdoor space as a result of the pandemic. Another option in these homes is a Family Room extension, which can be used as a homework area, as shown below, or even as an area for a baby grand piano.

Customize These Van Metre Homes Your Way…

One very cool advantage of building a Van Metre home is the ability to hire their “Design Build” team after closing — and beyond — to help you with additions, remodeling, renovations, and even handyman support. So if there’s a custom option you’d like to add but it isn’t offered as an option with the initial build, you can hire VM’s Design Build team to come in after closing to customize to your heart’s content. For example, the model we viewed had a small bedroom next to the Primary Bedroom. If homeowners wanted to add a doorway between the two, it could be used as another large walk-in closet, a home office, exercise room, or even a nursery.

Van Metre is currently running some incentives, but they change all the time based on market conditions. Call Kris at 703-507-7122 or me (Karen) at 703-585-3386 to get the latest info on how you can get the most for your money in this spectacular new neighborhood. There’s even an extra “Hero” credit for front line workers, military, and educators.
